The "Shamaness" hull is constructed of heavily laid up fiberglass. The decks were built with 3/8" thick teak planks over a glass encapsulated 3/4" teak plywood. The modified full keel is ballasted with encapsulated iron .
This sailing vessel is fully set with radio's, VHF, Northstar Autopilot (gyrocompass) with Octopus hydraulic ram drive, monitor windvane, 2 depth finders, Garmin GPS, radar, two electric and manual bilge pumps. Delta, Bruce, and Danforth anchors, compass, dockside power, full engine gauges, warning lights and alarm 4 golf cart 6v. batteries and 1 starting battery, new battery charger 2018.
New condition sails include storm jib, storm trisail. Very good condition yankee jib, staysail, full batten mainsail and full batten mizzen sail. Genoa, mizzen staysail, and cruising spinnaker, old but serviceable. Yanmar engine 40 h.p. with 5,000 hours very good condition (conscientiously maintained); 110 amp alternator and smart voltage regulator and 40 amp smart battery charger, sleeps 4, refrigerator, VCR screen, hot water heater. Honda 1000 generator.
She has gorgeous teak interior and exterior accents throughout. The solid teak inside doors to the bathroom and forward cabin (foc'sle) have beautiful carved bamboo, palm trees, sunsets pictured on both sides. New Sunbrella cushions were made for her in 2009.
